Article processing charges (APC)
All articles published with our conference proceedings platform are classified as open access and which simply means they will be freely available online 24×7 as soon as publications are made. The reason why this is possible is because of the article processing charge (APC) that covers the publishing services that we provide. The publishing services span across in house editors and proceedings editors online facilities, hosting, abstracting, indexing, DOI, article production and customer care. Our APC is divided into: Processing and Publication fee and DOI fee per article.
Processing & Publication Fee: NGN 80,000 or US $200
DOI per article Fee: NGN 3,500 or US $5
Who is responsible for making or arrange the payment?
The proceedings editor(s) (who in most cases is the one submitting the articles and other materials) is/are expected to take up the responsibility of making or arrange the payment when submitting the proceedings for publication.
What do the article processing charges pay for?
- Your published article will Immediately be available online for anyone to view and read freely and this will influence your citation rate positively as an authority and a “goto” person in your field
- The peer review and publication are handled and maintained with this.
- Getting digital object identifier (DOI) for the articles
- Getting the full text included in a number of archives permanently.
- Get the articles indexed in reputable repositories.
- Administrative cost alleviation
When and how do I pay?
As soon as the proceedings get to the stage of our editorial acceptance of all articles and other materials, our editorial office will contact and notify the proceeding editor(s) that payment for the publication is due.
We will send the proceeding editor(s) an electronic invoice representing the total fees to be paid as soon as we accept the proceeding for publication.
We will encourage you to be prompt with the payment because we will not publish accepted articles and materials until payment has been received and confirmed by our editorial office.
Making payment for our respective charges is seamless and very easy through the electronic invoice that we will send to you. You will make this payment using:
- Credit/Debit card – payment can be made online using a secure payment form and we will we send a receipt by email once payment has been processed.
- Direct deposit into our bank account which will accompany the electronic invoice, only Nigeria clients/customers are expected to make direct deposit.
Kindly note that we do not include any taxes in these charges. If you are resident in any European Union country you have to add Value-Added Tax (VAT) at the rate applicable in the respective country. In some cases the payment platform could impose on you a service charge at the point of payment, please note you will see the charges they are not hidden.
